Axtell Community Schools Schools seeks applications for the position of Superintendent of the School. The District is located in Axtell in South Central Nebraska, with a PK-12 enrollment of 337 students. The District has Certified and Classified staff with excellent ratings on AQUEST scores; strong community support from the village of Axtell; a great location; and new facilities.

The Superintendent of Schools provides leadership and supervision to the faculty, staff, and students of a Nebraska school district in accordance with the policies and directives of the district’s Board of Education.  Candidates must possess or be able to acquire by the opening date of the position, a Nebraska Administrative and Supervisory Certificate endorsed fully or provisionally for the PK-12 Superintendency.   An Educational Specialist degree, Doctorate in Educational Administration, or an equivalent credential approved by the Nebraska Department of Education is required for this position.
