Legislative Preview

The NCSA Legislative Preview Conference offers valuable insight into the key issues that may impact school administrators in the 2026 session of the Nebraska Legislature. The morning program will feature presentations from Governor Pillen, Nebraska Senators, NCSA’s Legislative Team, the OpenSky Policy Institute, and others, highlighting developments since the conclusion of the 2025 session and previewing what’s ahead in 2026.

Emerging Administrators 2026

Each year NCSA provides an Emerging Administrator Program for those who are interested in becoming a school administrator. The cost; which includes presentations by Nebraska administrator experts and education partners, materials, and resume review or mock interview for those interested; is a great value. If you're considering stepping up into and education administrative role, you won't want to miss the workshop! Look for registration to open in the winter of 2025.

NASBO State Convention

Each year NASBO hosts the NASBO State Convention to provide an opportunity to learn about the newest case law, legislative changes, best practices, and more that impact school business officials and superintendents. This event also offers opportunities to network with colleagues from across the state and connect with vendors at exhibit booths. Look for registration to open in February 2026.
