Secondary (7-12) Principal - Thayer Central Community Schools

Due to retirement, Thayer Central is seeking applications for the position of Secondary Principal (grades 7-12) for the 2023-2024 school year. A valid Nebraska certificate with appropriate endorsement is required for this position. The school system is a PK-12 district (NSAA Class C-2 or D-1) with approximately 450 students. Thayer Central Community Schools is in the town of Hebron and also includes Chester, Hubbell, Byron, Belvidere and Giliead located in the south central part of Nebraska.

The district has a tradition of academic excellence and strong extra-curricular programs. Led by a strong group of staff members Thayer Central Schools provides an education to students that allows them to find success in any path they choose after high school. The school is equipped with new and renovated facilities that will all open in the 22-23 school year. Updates include a new gymnasium, new and renovated classrooms in the elementary and secondary, new offices, and many other updates.
