Ogallala Public Schools is seeking an educational leader for a class B/C1 district of 850 students and 130 employees located in Southwest Nebraska along the I-80 corridor near Lake Mcconaughy. Candidates should have a working knowledge of the educational processes of Nebraska to include areas of budgeting, PBiS, PLC's and leadership.
Valuation is 1.2 billion dollars and has a general fund budget of $17 million with a levy of .83 for the general fund.
A progressive six member board of education is in place who values a superintendent who runs the district and has the ability to work with the public, values kids, appreciates staff and is responsible financially.
