The Aurora Public Schools is seeking a dynamic educational leader to serve as its Superintendent of Schools beginning July 1, 2020. The Aurora community is located along the Nebraska I-80 corridor just 20 miles east of Grand Island.
The community takes great pride in the educational opportunities provided by its local schools. The school district offers a comprehensive program for students in grades preschool through twelfth grade. The progressive school district has an enrollment of 1,250 students in grades PK-12. Aurora High School competes in the Central Conference and is Class B under the Nebraska School Activities Association classification system. The school mascot is the Huskies.
