The Assistant Principal will conduct regular classroom observations, participate in teacher evaluations, and facilitate professional development opportunities that enhance teaching practices and student achievement. The position requires collaboration with department chairs and teaching staff to strengthen curriculum delivery and support innovative instructional strategies aligned with district goals. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong organizational and problem-solving skills, exercise sound judgment in decision-making, and possess the ability to build trusting relationships with students, staff, families, and stakeholders while upholding district policies and promoting educational excellence.

NRCSA seeks applications for the position of Executive Director. The Association has 222 school district, Educational Service Unit, and State College members in 91 counties and 24 Legislative Districts. The Association maintains an office in Lincoln, Nebraska.

Key roles of the Executive Director are:

Serve as the voice of rural education for Nebraska's schools.
Develop an effective legislative and governmental relations program, including frequent attendance at Legislative hearings and floor sessions to provide testimony and advocacy.
Manage the Association and serve as chief financial officer.
Develop and manage innovative programs valuable to rural schools.
Organize the Association's annual convention and other events.
Work effectively with other educational and rural community organizations.
Maintain communication with the membership.
Maintain affiliation with the National Rural Education Association and related organizations.
