Superintendent of Schools
Hay Springs Public Schools has a vacancy for the position of Superintendent of Schools. Hay
Springs School is a Class III district that serves approximately 200 students in preschool
through grade 12. All elementary students receive instruction in music, library, computers, art,
and PE. Hay Springs offers a comprehensive education for both the non-college bound student
and the student seeking to be successful in the college environment. Hay Springs has a staff of
36 with 23 teachers and 2 administrators.
Hay Springs is located in the northern part of the Nebraska panhandle 20 miles SW of Chadron,
45 miles N of Alliance and 100 miles NE of Scottsbluff. The area offers many outdoor
recreational activities including hunting, fishing, close proximity to Fort Robinson and Chadron
State Park.
The community holds a Hay Springs Friendly Festival annually on the last weekend of August.
Hay Springs is home to several eating establishments. The city has a library, American Legion,
Heritage Center, Masonic Lodge, Hip Hop gift shop, several parks, church options, parks, a
swimming pool and multiple other amenities. The community is very supportive of the school
district.
The district is looking for applicants who can:

The district has a four-day week and offers housing for the superintendent.
2026-27 Assistant Principal (Secondary)
CERTIFICATION: Nebraska Administrative and Supervisory Certificate
EXPERIENCE SUGGESTED:
The person holding this position should have had three or more years of successful teaching experience and preferably some experience in school administration.
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
The Assistant Principal assists with the responsibilities for curriculum, student services, student discipline, staff evaluation, summer school, budget, food services, health services, as well as guidance and counseling services. The Assistant Principal recognizes the Principal as the chief administrative officer of the school and performs the duties within the authority and responsibility delegated by the Principal. This position is subject to a veterans preference. Qualification for a Nebraska Administrative and Supervisory certification required.

Job Summary:
The Director of Technology is responsible for the effective utilization of instructional technology within the school setting by establishing an environment in which the use of technology as a teaching and management tool is key. The director is responsible for the leadership, direction, and planning of technology services to include academic computing, administrative computing, video systems, cybersecurity, and telecommunication systems as well as satellite, telephone, and data circuits necessary to support all aspects of district operations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT or related field
Demonstrated successful leadership experience
Experience in school management information systems and complex information technology resources involving highly skilled personnel
Position to begin July 2026
Superintendent of Schools
NASB is accepting applications for Superintendent of Schools on behalf of Bloomfield Community Schools. BCS is a Preschool-12th grade school offering courses in agriculture, music, fine arts, mathematics, social sciences, literature courses, and many more. BCS offers many extracurriculars as well such as football, basketball, volleyball, one-act, speech, student council, along with others to get students involved and teach them skills to help them prosper.
