Thedford Public Schools is looking for a Part-Time or Full-Time Superintendent
Thedford Public Schools is a small, rural district committed to fostering positive educational
growth and preparing students for life’s challenges. Serving approximately 123 students from
preschool through 12 th grade from Thedford and Brownlee. The district benefits from a low
student-to-teacher ratio, allowing for personalized instruction and strong academic support.
Technology is integrated throughout the curriculum, with Chromebooks provided to students in
grades 7–12 and iMac carts and iPads available for elementary students. Thedford offers a wide
range of extracurricular activities beyond athletics, including HAL, SkillsUSA, FFA, FCCLA, One
Act, and Speech, encouraging student engagement and leadership.
Thedford, Nebraska is a small, close-knit community nestled in the heart of the Sandhills cattle
country. Known for its scenic beauty and rural charm, Thedford offers a peaceful lifestyle
surrounded by natural attractions like the Bessey (Halsey) National Forest, the Middle Loup
River, and the Thedford Golf Course. The town is a hub for outdoor enthusiasts, with
opportunities for river trips, hiking, and exploring historical landmarks. Thedford boasts a variety

crossroads of Highways 83 and 2, it’s within an hour’s drive of larger towns like Broken Bow,
