Central Elementary School Principal
Fairbury Public Schools, located in Fairbury, Nebraska, is seeking an innovative and dedicated individual to serve as the Central Elementary Principal. The successful candidate will be the primary instructional leader for approximately 280 preschool through second grade students and 50 staff members, both certified and classified. The Central Elementary Principal prioritizes fostering an environment conducive to academic excellence, social-emotional growth, and community engagement.
Position: Principal (PreK-2) - Central Elementary School
Location: Fairbury, Nebraska

Responsibilities:
-Provide visionary leadership in curriculum development, instructional strategies, and assessment practices to
ensure the academic success of all students.
-Foster a positive school culture that promotes equity, inclusivity, and respect among students, staff, families, and
community members.
-Collaborate with teachers and staff to implement best practices in teaching and learning, incorporating research-
based strategies, and innovative approaches.
-Effectively manage school resources to support student achievement and maintain a safe and nurturing learning
environment.
-Cultivate strong partnerships with families, community organizations, and other stakeholders to enhance student
learning and well-being.
-Demonstrate a commitment to professional growth and continuous improvement through ongoing reflection,
collaboration, and participation in relevant professional development opportunities.
-Ensure compliance with district policies, state regulations, and accreditation standards.
Qualifications:
-Master’s degree in Educational Leadership, School Administration, or related field (required).
-Valid Nebraska Administrative Certificate Required.
-Minimum of 5 years of successful teaching experience (preferred).
-Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
-Knowledge of current educational trends, best practices, and research in early childhood and elementary
education.
