High Plains Community Schools – Superintendent of Schools

High Plains Community Schools has a vacancy for the position of Superintendent of Schools.  The school is located 24 miles NW of York and 35 miles NE of Grand Island. This district has a PK – 12 enrollment of 205 students. The district is looking for applicants to properly communicate across the school district communities and develop relationships and establish trust with staff and community members. The applicant should also be able to continue the plan to improve student achievement and retain quality teachers and be proactive in recruiting to replace retiring teachers.
