Centura Public Schools has a vacancy for the position of Superintendent of Schools. Centura is a rural consolidated district located 20 miles northwest of Grand Island. The district has a PK – 12 enrollment of 485 students who come from within 214 square miles surrounding the school. The district is looking for a candidate to

*provide comprehensive support for all educational and extra-curricular student experiences
*foster relationships with students, staff, board members, and education partners
*develop and carry out a long-term plan to address building upgrades, maintenance, safety, and security to include a potential bond issue
*possess leadership and interpersonal skills to lead an administrative and staff team
