Virtual Conference

ADMINISTRATORS’ DAYS 2020 is just around the corner!  This annual event for all Nebraska School Administrators provides the opportunity to gain the latest information and development on issues schools are dealing with in Nebraska, motivation from national speakers, and connect with other educational leaders and vendors.   
Administrators’ Days 2020 has pivoted from an in-person event to a virtual conference that will still provide an exceptional experience including many of the activities that make Administrators’ Days so special.  The virtual format will provide networking opportunities and meet-ups, give aways and prizes, and allow you to view recorded sessions after the event, so you’ll be able to gain learning from ALL sessions.  We hope to see you online in July!

Keynote Speakers

WhitakerMike Veny
Mike Veny is the author of the book Transforming Stigma: How to Become a Mental Wellness Superhero and his perspectives have been featured on ABC, NBC, and CBS News.  Diversity and Inclusion have been an important part of Mike’s life since childhood.  Mike’s authenticity, straightforward approach, and easy-to-understand takeaways set him apart. You will walk away from Mike’s presentaion with knowledge that you can put to use immediately in your own life, with your loved ones, and in the workplace. Mike believes it’s not just about sharing knowledge, it’s about teaching people how to take action to improve wellness and inclusion.

Frank DeAngelis
Frank DeAngelis was a staff member at Columbine High School in the Jeffco School District in Littleton Colorado, since 1979.  He was principal of the school when tragedy at Columbine redefined the nation.  A positive attitude and a passion for his job, allowed Frank to work at Columbine until 2014. Frank will share how he was able to build a community that worked together for his kids; the students at Columbine High School.

Frank’s honest, straight-forward account provides invaluable insights into managing during difficult times with students, staff members, community members, and never ending media attention.

ZablockiDanny Brassell
Affectionately known as “Jim Carrey with a Ph.D.,” Dr. Danny Brassell has held a variety of titles and worked with leaders from a variety of fields and disciplines, but he has always considered himself first and foremost a teacher.  His mission is to bring joy back into education and the workplace.


 

Reg LeichtyLeichty
With over two decades of legal, policy, and lobbying experience, Reg advises state education leaders, superintendents, national associations, and other stakeholders about the federal laws, regulations, and programs that impact public education.

Conference Platform
Registrants will be input into Whova, our conference platform prior to the event.  You will be able to network and meet up with other attendees and exhibitors, access informaiton and handouts from presentations, and access all links to view general sessions and select-a-sessions.

*Any conference attendee registration cancellation request must be received no later than Friday, July 24, 2020.  To avoid being charged the full registration fee, please submit any requests to cancel your registration before the cancellation deadline. Please contact NCSA, 402-476-8055, with all cancellation requests and inquiries. Please note: your registration fee will be refunded or waived ONLY if an event is cancelled due to inclement weather.
