Technology Boot Camp

ESU #13 - Scottsbluff (8:30 am to 3:00 pm)

Technology available to teachers, students, and staff is changing day by day. The effective administrator must be able to lead a school’s technology program in order to provide an efficient and progressive educational system. To lead in the technology world of apps, iPads, smart phones, etc. it is imperative that the school administrator be able to demonstrate technology competencies. The Nebraska Council of School Administrators (NCSA) continues to assist school leaders in supporting and promoting the increased use of technology in all facets of the school. For the past two years NCSA has partnered  with the Educational Service Units Technology Affiliate Group (TAG) to provide opportunities for professional growth for administrators by offering Technology Boot Camps. This year’s Boot Camp will help the effective administrator gain confidence in controlling their technology devices.

During these boot camps the TAG group will cover the following:
• Google + and Hangouts will be discussed and include e-book and an on-air demonstration
